Currently we are scaling up our head office here in Amsterdam and are therefore looking for new colleagues and one we really need now is a Visual Designer.

Being in design at Atida is as challenging as it is rewarding. Because several new propositions will be launched in the coming years, a significant amount of new products have to be designed. You won’t be optimizing only check-outs, you, together with your team, are responsible for designing new products from scratch in a fast paced environment.

Role: Visual Designer

As Visual Designer you will report to the Lead Product Designer. The Chief Product Officer is in charge of the product and design team and is a strong believer and advocate of design. As Visual Designer you will be:

• Working with the design team to create visually engaging, innovative and functional interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, and apps, starting from concept design to the creation of production ready assets.

• Creating and maintaining design system and library

• Setting up the systems, processes and tools required to create a standardised, robust, flexible and scalable design approach for all products delivered

• Creating beautiful design that balance business goals, user needs, design aesthetic and brand guidelines

• Participating in the Design team's rituals and processes, including contributing to existing design systems and leveraging any assets which can be utilised.

• Juggling multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations

• Communicating and collaborating with other UX Designers to ensure consistent and unified experiences across products.

About you:

As Visual Designer you:

• 4+ years in a Visual Designer role within highly collaborative digital organisations

• Significant experience creating interfaces, apps or large scale websites ( B2C) which have delivered on strategy and success metrics.

• Proven ability to solve complex and detailed user problems with simple, effective, and intuitive visual designs.

• Comprehensive understanding of user centred design and how to apply the methodologies to digital development.

• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively combined with a strong attention to detail.

• Expert level skills working across design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Figma and InVision.

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in the Graphic design field.
